'Response Only' Repairs
For 'response only' calls, there is an initial call out charge + labour charges + charges for parts required to effect a repair (rates on application). This is a practical choice for many.
The repair of older machines is subject to availability of spare parts. Microfilm & Scanners will endeavour to source parts but cannot always guarantee obtaining them or providing a set time for delivery.
Maintenance Contracts
Choose an annually renewable maintenance contract:

SILVER - An economical choice. Parts and consumables are paid for only. There is no call out fee and no labour charges are made with this type of contract.

GOLD - nothing to pay except for consumables e.g. toner, glasses, bulbs

8+8 CONTRACT - available on document scanners (but not microfilm equipment).
On what terms does Microfilm & Scanners set up maintenance contracts with its customers?
In order to set out a maintenance agreement on a machine we have not previously attended, an engineer will carry out a free, pre-contractual service check on the machine/machines and related accessories. If the equipment is found to be in serviceable condition, we do not charge for the visit.
Should faults be found, the engineer will discuss with the customer the best course of action to take in order to have the machine(s) brought up to industry standard. In such cases there is a charge, only for the parts and the labour required to fit them. Once the equipment is declared functional, a contract of your choice can then be entered into giving you peace of mind for the coming year.
